SOFIA - EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF CULTURE

World premieres of works written especially for the festival by Alexander Iosifov, Atanas Atanasov, Bozhidar Petkov, Georgi Arnaoudov, Krassimir Taskov, Lyubomir Denev Rumen Balyozov


      

For the first time available to the public will become newly piano works by Ludwig van Beethoven


      

Presentation of new books by Professor Elisaveta Valchinova-Chendova ("Archive Petko Staynov. Unknown Pages"), Prof. Cler Levy ('Music parody in the late 20th and early 21st century "), Prof. R. Karakostova (" The idea State Musical Theatre and its projection in the national repertoire by the end of the twentieth century "), Emil Lozev (" Copyright and related rights in the theater "), Magdalena Manolova (" Bulgarian Opera Myth - three tenors and three sopranos ") and others.


      

Presentation of the new CD "Viva Verdi!", Issued in Switzerland, performed by Graziela Valceva Fierro and Veneziela Naydenova

      

For the first time the festival films for Ana Tomova Sintova and Academic Choir "Angel Manolov" and "Gena Dimitrova - the voice of the Arena di Verona"


      

On the festival stage will guest-star musicians like the singer Alexandrina, Boyko Tsvetanov, Vladimir Valyarevich Lyudmila Angelov, Mario Jose, Martina Shuka, Natalia Prishepenko, Adelina Mangova, Sebastian Klinger, Stefan Popov, Philippe Bernold and much more, the big part of which are visiting us for the first time.


      

First works performance in Bulgaria by: Giuseppe Verdi, Leonard Bernstein, Richard Wagner, Nino Rota, Franz Liszt and a number of English, Belgian, Italian, Spanish, German, American, French, Russian and other composers


      

Especially for the festival for the first time combine their creative energies Andras Adorjan and Ognjan Konstantinov Alexandrina Pendachanska and Semyon Skigin, Devorina Gamalova, Stefan Popov, Evgeni Ganchev and Dimitar Burov from London by Krasimir Taskov Daniela Dikova, Atanas Krastev and Milko Milkov Philip Bernold and Mario Jose Martina Shuka and Vladimir Kosyanenko and others.
